After killing the Nine we had the opportunity to choose between a rock or a hard place, in other words Dormazain or Ner'zhul. We pulled both bosses a few times and chose what we thought was the slightly lesser evil, Remnant of Ner'zhul. Since we had never done massdispells for Malevolence on heroic mode, we had the joy of working on it now, and we used a weakaura to help us with when we could massdispell or when we had to single dispell (when neither person could get back on the platform). Then we spent a lot of time being blown off the platform anyway because we executed the fight poorly. Though to be fair we have probably died to everything you can die on in this encounter. Today Ner'zhul died. Good riddance! Dormazain next, doh!
