Rigr/Mikit/Idunn has been hacked. All stuff gone etc. :x A few weeks ago it was Atemm, I dont know if there is an increase in hacker-activity or if we've just been terribly unlucky lately. But i suppose everyone should think about stepping up their security.

Tip of the day:

I have a Blizzard Authenticator. Me, Gloin and Bartie ordered 3 of them around Christmas and i feel much safer. I cant see how anyone could hack me now tbh. It costs €6 + shipping. It's silly that you have to do extra things to make your account safe, but it's worth it instead of being hacked.

I honestly thing everyone should think of buying one. If you live at the same place as others you can order more and split the shipping like we did.

or do like i did, get the Blizzard Moblie Authenticator, useable on most moblie phones that supports java apps/games, costs 1€, with instant delivery.

Seems like the most likely suspect (after cleaning the hdd with 4 different anti malware apps, and manually clearing the registry (regedit.exe)), is a file called zwangi.exe, related to some kind of search toolbar. rated as "very nasty trojan" by some safety companys
came bundeled with some unzip/unrar software i DL'ed (BitZipper (http://www.bitzipper.com)) that came recomended on http://www.tech-pro.net.
have checked, and both sites are listed as safe, both in WoT (Web of Trust) and AVG (the antivirus software).
even though all the comments on WoT seem to be negative, it's still rated as safe...

so, sugest, if youre not doing so already:
-AD-Aware
-Spybot - Search & Destroy
-SpywareBlaster
-Malwarebytes
-AVG Free (or any other anti virus software)
-Blizzard Authenticator (or Blizzard mobile Authenticator, BMA)

PS: remember; keyloggers log everything, including your online banking login info.

Banks really should use their own authenticators by now, both mine and my parents' banks have authenticators.

This is strange, I'll have to learn a bit more about WoT.

They have so-called "trusted users" whose ratings are more valuable. Obviously this is a weakness in that it makes the process of identifying ass sites slower. But it's a strength in that the average internet-user is very likely a moron that would rate sites poorly if they didn't have the color they prefer.

I'll still recommend WoT, because alot of really bad sites can still show as great according to AVG, which is the other tool I use.
I installed that BitZipper by the way, and it didn't install any bad file on my pc :(

If you're looking for free anti-virus, I'd go with Avira AntiVir. It's way better than AVG.

For anti-spyware, I'd recommend SUPERAntiSpyware as it's pretty darn super.

I use Avira AntiVir and think it's doing it's work, I also use Spybot Search & Destroy for spyware and such and it cleans up pretty damn good :)
