So you can't plug your screen to your computer as in you have a wrong kind of cord? I'm only throwing guesses here but your old computer might have a thing that could solve your problem (that is a VGA/DVI adapter). Check the back of your old computer where you normally connect the screen, there might be a grey "thing" attached to the graphics card. Unscrew that one and insert it to the graphics card on your new computer. If you can connect your screen to it then it might work. I'm only guessing that you have a VGA cord on your old monitor, if that's not the case then ignore me. |

I think you made some computer store clerk very happy. When they hear "gaming" stuff their eyes turn into $ signs, hopefully you didnt spend too much!! The vast majority of displays will do perfectly fine for casual use, "gaming" or not. What did you get? Please dont tell me you shelled money for G-sync! Edit: you should have invested the extra moneys into a low/mid tier smartphone so you could google on the spot or open the bnet app and ask people!! join us in the new millenium! |

I believe i had a VGA (looks like that on Zerina/Zayne's pictures) from my screen that was already connected to a DVI adapter (gray thingy Teldryn spoke of) and connected to my old computer. However the DVI adapter did not fit in the new computer because it didnt look the same, it had 4 little . pins above and below the - pin, and my new computer wanted a - pin with no . pins around it. Apparently the - pin without . pins is a DVI-D, and the guy claimed he had no adapter for VGA to DVI-D, or for DVI to DVI-D, because it's analog to digital. He said i could get a special box that would make that happen, but he didnt have it in stock. Zerina, i went to Elgiganten and not Kjell and Co, I didnt even know we had a Kjell and Co. Kihel, i paid for something on sale that was the cheapest they had of the "gaming ones". But I don't know what it was. It was black. |

Yesterday was Friday so I went to get my new black screen. Turned out it wasnt there yet, and I would have to wait until Tuesday. So today I went to the shop Zerina pointed out exists in my town. I bought one of the cords that make VGA turn into HDMI and yay it works on my new computer! So when Elgiganten calls me about the screen i will tell them to shove it! Yay, working computer! Or, i think so at least. I am downloading stuff atm. We'll see. Thanks everyone who had input! |

I have an issue with my mouse, and I dont know how to fix it I have a Razer Naga 2014 mouse. To configure the side buttons I use a program called Razer Synapse. Since i have a new computer I have downloaded said program again, probably ten times now. The first thing the program wants to do after I install it is to update the software. I get a Notification saying there is an update available and a whole list of what the update will do. When I click to update, i first get a question if i want to allow razor to make changes on my computer, and I answer yes. Then the update starts, the bar moves to 3% and then i get this message: UNABLE TO UPDATE We are unable to update your software Please check if your internet is connected, then click TRY AGAIN. CANCEL | TRY AGAIN If i click try again, i keep getting the same message. If i click cancel the update ends and the Synapse program opens, but it doesnt know I have a Naga mouse so i cant do any configuration. I have restarted, deleted all files, reinstalled, unplugged the mouse, turned off my virus program and firewall and all other protection settings i could find. I have done this now in various combinations all afternoon. Does anyone know what would fix this? |
