Bumping this with some aditional info:
First, spreadsheet with AK levels, %'s and unlock/research time.
Second, reminder you need a total of 25k Order hall resources to unlock the new two tiers (10k and 15k respectively), which eventually gives you a chance to proc an extra AP token.
Third and not less important, it's imperative you get your 'intro' quest done on wednesday with as much time before the raid you can, so you can unlock the new artifact traits, get your 10%damage/healing trait back and invest your remaining AP in the new traits. - It doesn't take long but it's worth getting it done asap.
You should also be able to get AK 26 which will net you a 1001 multiplier on AP.
Seems this won't be the case this week, but you can still use this tip for future weeks. It's been confirmed on twitter that the transition chest from 7.1.5 to 7.2 will not have AP tokens.For last but not least, Don't open your M+ Chest before you have AK level 26 otherwise you will lose on that sweet multiplier increase.

A very interesting addition to the latest build that I personally didn't expect.
Also a very decent overview of the patch from a reddit user, although much of it is already mentioned above and in wowhead, still a decent read if you're boredHearty Feasts now grant 400 stats (was 150), and Lavish Suramar Feasts now grant 500 stats (was 200).
