I installed Linux today, but I was a bit careless! Apparently the "loader" I installed with Linux didn't figure out that windows 7 exists on my computer on another harddrive.
A loader is basically what tells your computer that there's an operative system somewhere and lets the machine access and run it.

So now I have linux and windows 7, but my machine doesn't know that windows 7 is on it.

I can probably figure this thing out, but I thought I'd make a post about it so that people could say "told you so" to me

I still haven't fixed this problem!

Closing in on it now though, but as a side-effect the Windows 7 repair-software destroyed my linux-partition. Probably shouldn't be surprised that it didn't fix anything but made it worse instead.

It should work though if you do it right and I don't know how to do it so im going to be quiet

Forgot to update, my windows has been fine for two days now!

Some research yielded a program that rebuilds boot information, so I typed something like "[bootfixprogram].exe c:/windows/ /s c:" and all was well!
