Hello everyone!
In our continuing efforts to add more value for our members the officers have decided to add a membership fee! While discussing amongst ourselves we tried to decide on an amount that we felt could help us add to your experience by letting us fund things like guild-trips and tournaments of various types! We're happy to be sharing this news with you today:
Membership fee amount: 100NOK = 200SEK = $30 = €29
Here's a list of things that the fee will be used to finance:
- The web site itself. - The web site will be kept alive by the income.
- Ventrilo - We will be able to hear eachother's lovely voices even in the future!
- Officer trips - Travel costs for officers will be funded by the monthly fee. This way we can travel around the world and meet our members.
- Guild parties - All guild party costs will be covered. This includes things like food and alcohol. Alcohol funding in Norway is not covered for obvious reasons.
- Food expenses for officers - An officer's gotta eat! Our expenses in running the guild will be covered.
- Nomnomnom tournament - Pest will be given permission to host funded cake-eating tournaments
We're very pleased with the current solution, but we always appreciate feedback! Please leave comments if you have suggestions for more things that we can cover with this fee.
Payment information will be included in an upcoming announcement. The monthly fee will come into effect as of May
