**1. Tell us about your character.**

My character is **Barakä** from **Dun Modr (EU)**. I currently play **Beast Mastery Hunter**.

* Armory: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/chara ... arak%C3%A4
* Warcraft Logs: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/ ... arak%C3%A4

My current item level is around **290**.
---

**2. Tell us about your WoW history and raiding experience.**

I started playing World of Warcraft during **Wrath of the Lich King**. While I had raided on and off before, I only started taking Mythic raiding seriously around **Shadowlands**, and I became much more committed during **The War Within**.

Over the years I've played several classes, but **Hunter** has always been the class I've enjoyed the most. I've also spent a lot of time playing **Monk** (both Windwalker and Mistweaver). During **The War Within** I mained **Enhancement Shaman** in Season 1, **Unholy Death Knight** in Season 2, and **Beast Mastery Hunter** in Season 3. This expansion I started as a **Restoration Druid**, while keeping my Hunter geared alongside it in case the guild needed me to switch. I can play what you need in case need other class.

Most of the guilds I've been in have been around the **World Rank 1500–2000** level. Although I haven't raided in top-ranked guilds, I have consistently aimed to improve and contribute to progression.

I currently have **six Cutting Edge achievements**: **Xavius**, **Sylvanas**, **Queen Ansurek**, **Gallywix**, **Dimensius**, and **Chimaerus**. Three of those were earned with Spanish-speaking guilds and three with English-speaking guilds. During **The War Within**, I achieved **Cutting Edge in every raid tier**.

I'm applying as a **Beast Mastery Hunter** because it's the class I enjoy playing the most. I maintain several geared characters and I'm comfortable rerolling when needed, but Hunter is the character I'd most like to raid on.

---

**3. Tell us a little about yourself, outside of the game.**

I'm from **Barcelona, Spain**, and I manage a small business in the photography industry.

Outside of work, I spend most of my free time playing World of Warcraft. I'm a pretty simple and calm person, and I enjoy challenging myself through Mythic raiding.

During raids I'm usually quiet and focused. I like to communicate when it's necessary, but I don't talk just for the sake of it. I also stream my raids, mainly so I can keep recordings of progression and first kills.

My spoken English isn't perfect, but I have no issues understanding raid calls, strategies, or communicating when needed. At the end of the day, raid mechanics are the same regardless of the language.

---

**4. We raid Thursday, Sunday, Monday most resets, which days and how many days a week are you generally interested in raiding?**

I'm available for all three scheduled raid days (Thursday, Sunday, and Monday) and I'm happy to raid all three every week. My schedule is stable, so I don't expect any regular attendance issues.

---

**5. How much do you play per week outside of raids?**

I usually play several days a week outside of raids. I like to keep my character up to date by doing Mythic+, gearing, and any other content that's useful for progression. I also enjoy playing other games in my free time, so I try to keep a good balance while making sure I'm always prepared for raid.

---

**6. Why did you leave your last guild, or why are you leaving your current guild?**

This season started badly for me. I joined a Spanish guild where I felt undervalued. I was benched as a healer and didn't get many opportunities to play, so after about four weeks I decided to leave and started looking for another guild.

After trying a few guilds, I joined a newly formed English-speaking guild and we killed the first bosses together with me playing my healer. Unfortunately, I then ran into an issue with my Discord account. In one of the guild's meme channels, someone had posted a GIF of a kid dancing (nothing sexual, racist or bad intention, only a kid funny dance). I thought it was funny and shared the same GIF in a private Discord server with some friends. Shortly afterwards my Discord account was permanently banned for two years. The original post remained on the other server, but my account received the ban, so maybe spanish server with friends trolling me with mass report i dont know, spanish people are different.

Because of that ban, every new Discord account I created was automatically detected and suspended again, so I couldn't use Discord voice communication anymore. Since the guild relied on Discord for raids, they understandably couldn't continue raiding with me.

While looking for a new guild, I saw that Lazy Peon Tavern uses TeamSpeak for voice communication. That immediately caught my attention because it removes the communication issue I've been dealing with, allowing me to focus entirely on raiding again. I need confirm if teamspeak is mandatory.

---

**7. Why are you interested in joining Lazy Peon Tavern and from where did you find out about us?**

I found your recruitment post on the official Blizzard forums.

I'm looking for a stable long-term guild where I can keep progressing and continue achieving Cutting Edge. Your raid schedule suits me well, and after reading your recruitment post, I felt your approach to raiding matched what I'm looking for.

Another thing that caught my attention is that you use TeamSpeak for voice communication, which also fits my current situation. Overall, I think Lazy Peon Tavern would be a good place for me to settle down and contribute over the long term.

---

**8. What is your favourite thing(s) in the game outside of raiding?**

My favourite part of the game is playing together with other people to overcome difficult challenges. Whether it's Mythic+, helping with group content, or progressing towards a common goal, I really enjoy the teamwork involved.

The best feeling for me is when everyone works together and finally achieves something that required effort from the whole group. That shared sense of accomplishment is what keeps me playing.

---

**9. What annoys you the most in the game?**

The things that annoy me the most are a lack of commitment and people with a big ego. I enjoy raiding with players who work together, prepare properly, and always look for ways to improve instead of blaming others.

One thing I also find frustrating is not being given a fair opportunity to prove myself. I have earned six Cutting Edge achievements, and to me those are the result of commitment, dedication, consistency, and performing well enough to reach the goal. I don't expect a guaranteed raid spot, but I do appreciate being judged by my performance and attitude rather than assumptions.

Nowadays I play because I enjoy killing Mythic bosses and progressing with a team. Achieving Cutting Edge is always the goal, but more than anything I want to be part of a stable progression roster and contribute throughout the tier, rather than feeling like I'm only an option when a raid spot needs to be filled.

---

**10. Have you read our recruit and guild information on our website, and are you 18+ years old?**

Yes, I have read your recruitment and guild information, and I am over 18 years old.

---

**11. Anything you'd like to add?**

Thank you for taking the time to read my application.

I'm looking for a guild where I can settle down for the long term and contribute to progression as a reliable raider. I always try to prepare as well as I can, I'm open to feedback, and I'm willing to play whatever is best for the team if needed, even though Hunter is the class I enjoy the most.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about my previous experience or my Discord situation, I'd be happy to discuss it with an officer.

I know I'm not a perfect player, but I'm always looking to improve. If I'm given the opportunity, I'll do everything I can to earn my place through my performance, consistency, and commitment to the team.

I used a corrector to use the best words to explain, because with my basic english maybe cant use correct words. My read english is good i consider but english talk im a bit basic skilled :) my Bnet:Jer#21477

Hello Barakä,

Thank you for an excellent application. I think we understood you perfectly, and it was a really good first impression.

I want to immediately clarify to you that we have been raiding for soon 19 years in this guild and at no point have we gotten cutting edge (well, we did with Sporefall and Dreamrift, but it was because they were easy and had only 1 boss in each). Our aim is always to kill as many mythic bosses we can, but we are usually one or two steps behind the cutting edge guilds. Generally we clear half the mythic bosses, maybe a few more if we have time. This tier we are at 6/10 mythic, and it is looking like we won't get much further because it is summer now and people are starting to be away on holidays.

The reason we are one or two steps behind the cutting edge guilds is probably a combination of many things. For some raiders there might be a lack of commitment, like you mentioned. And as always there are some stronger players and some weaker players in the raidteam. Probably that spectrum is wider than it should be in a cutting edge guild. But in general we like our team and we try to get as far as we can with the team that we have, if you understand what I mean.

So. All that being said, you are very welcome to have a trial with us. I really liked reading your application. Think about if we might be one or two steps below what you really seek, and if that might become a source of frustration for you, and if so I understand if you want to look elsewhere.

Otherwise we accept your application :)

Oh and to answer your question, yes we use Teamspeak. Not Discord.

CE is good and was something i aspired to achieve with a bit anxiety in the past but now after achieved all in TWW i feel pleased. I feel completed the game once so now i understand and look the game with other point of view. I want play and i understand your mentality of the guild, im considered non toxic so if no achieve CE dont care. AOTC is fine too, see the raid and enjoy with people playing the game is allways the first important thing. Im very chill man, no write too much in guild chat but im allways prepared to help, only write me and lets go.

And i no have options, no one use teamspeak and without voice comm no one interested on me to play heroic raid at least so i dont want a pug life in next season. Your guild is my only option :D a miracle was found your guild because no one use teamspeak. I have years without use teamspeak but i learn fast.

add me or tell me how i join my Bnet:Jer#21477
